The Gastric Balloon is considered a short term solution to assist you reduce your portion sizes and help control your hunger.

The Gastric Balloon is in place for 6 months then it is removed,

by which time you would have worked closely with Helen to improve your food choices and have changed your mind set to keep the weight off.  If you are looking for a quick and easy solution, don’t waste your time or money.

The Gastric Balloon will fail you as you will be cheating it.

You need to improve your food intake, increase your exercise levels and develop a healthy mind to maintain your healthier lifestyle and keep the weight off.

Expect to eat 3 small toddler portion meal sizes and the odd snack if you feel that it is required. Helen will personalize The dietary plan to match your lifestyle.

The process involved in summary includes:

  1. Fast over night
  2. Gastric Balloon is inserted
  3. Consume fluids for one week.  Nausea is quite bad at this stage.
  4. Transition onto solid food
  5. Normal diet 1 week post procedure
  6. Start learning to eat slowly and feel fuller on less food
